Short History
Faith Christian Bible Training Center became Central Arkansas Bible College in 2004 and for the first two years was associated with Oral Roberts University and offered courses through extension classes.
In 2012, the Arkansas Department of Higher Education granted the right to grant degrees commiserate with the religious training of Central Arkansas Bible College. These degrees are associates, bachelors, masters and doctorate in Bible studies, ministry, theology, and Church history.
Central Arkansas Bible College is the fruit of an intense desire of Pastors Gene and Betty Gilliam to bring opportunity to everyone desiring to receive advanced Christian education in an environment where critical thinking is emphasized while considering traditional perimeters set by Christian thought through the ages of church history (examples include Church Fathers, Ecumenical Councils, Reformers, and Renewal History).
Students will grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. As they expand their biblical knowledge and develop a Christian worldview, they will act ethically in life situations.
